I love the ease and convenience of the product, and its simple to use.Much easier on my hands than a knife or traditional peeler. Many ways to use it but potatoes using the skins for shoestring fries is the best !Easy to use and quick saves lot's of timeWhen I bought this, I really thought it wouldn’t work as advertised, but I was wrong. It has not only met, but exceeded expectations of not only mine, but my family’s as well. It now has a permanent spot on our kitchen counter, we actually kept the box thinking we would be storing it between uses, but it seems to get a lot more use than we ever expected it would get, so out went the box. Between all the potato dishes we make along with all the baking we do, it comes in handy and cuts down on the workload and frees up time. This appliance does not only do the job as advertised, but is easy to clean. So far, even after being put to use 3-5 days per week, and having received it days prior to Christmas 2019, the blades have not dulled, hence we haven’t had to use any of the replacement blades. (FYI - the first time we used it, my son peeled over 10 lbs of potatoes in less than a quarter of the nominal time. In case you also wanted to know, it works on all sizes and even items with irregularities. In addition to this appliance, we also needed to use a potato peeler to cut out the “eyes” and tippy-top & bottoms.)This did a nice job--I like how shallow the cut as it means less pith on the lemon peels. Where are my extra blades, though? Also, I bought the same but slightly older version at the same time as I was in a time pinch and needed to have a back up (as the v. expensive other one I bought, different brand, broke nearly instantly). There seems to be NO DIFFERENCE between the two (other than this one was about 20 bucks more... and DID NOT HAVE THE EXTRA BLADES). The other one might be a little louder, but frankly, hard to tell the difference as EVERYTHING is the same.Worjs pretty good, but beware motor is very noisy (would definitely wake up a baby in the next room lol). Make sure that you press the apple or whatever your peeling firmly down onto the spikes as straight as you can align it to thw center line. Then rest the blade just on the curve of the top edge of the item getting peeled. Install the top spike firmly until it bottoms. Then it should get 80 percent of the peel off once you hit the red button :-)Protip: once you peel it then use a core removal tool to core it, then a hand peeler to remove the restI does an Ok job. I like that it doesn't take too much skin off. I have used it for peaches. The fuzz gets stuck that can be dealt with by getting your peach wet before peeling. Saved me alot of hand work and time. Does what it promises. But I honestly feel it is overpriced for a simple plastic gadget. The first one I got came broken and had to return within 24 hours to the seller that was a little scary. I did get my refund and was happy with that ordered a new one from LOHOME and have had no issuesI purchased this on a whim with Easter holiday coming around the bend my family uses a lot of potatoes for family meals and I could not be happier with this and the best compliment I could give it is that it works as advertised the only improvement there could be is the stand could be alittle taller I found myself having to cut the top off a potatoe more times than I would have liked to that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was able to go through an entire 10lbs bag of potatoes in just a few minutes
